Biography

Peggy studied darkroom photography in college and while working as an RN in a large city hospital was a birth photographer. She and her husband traveled for six years aboard their Yacht "Gypsy Soul" after John's retirement. Traveling by boat is a unique opportunity to capture a wide diverse slice of culture; from the rich midsection of this country's river system to the tropical beauty of the Florida Keys and the Bahamas.

And now, living on land, Peggy's new focus of passion is the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Her work has been displayed at Art Shows in the Thumb of Michigan, the University of Michigan Hospital's Voices Gallery and at The Creative Center in New York www.thecreativecenterarts.org/2007/10/peggy-mangan.html.
