The majority of my pottery is functional. Oven proof, dishwasher safe. I love the idea of artwork you can hold, use and enjoy every single day! I work mostly in two clays; a white porcelain blend and a iron-rich speckled stoneware. I mix my own glazes and underglazes for more control over the process.

Biography

Starting my artists' life as a watercolorist, I got bored one year and took up ceramics. What a difference working in 3-D! Eleven years later, I am still exploring and growing as a potter. I still love doing my watercolor portraits, but I have a hard time staying away from the pottery studio.
